General Computer Troubleshooting Steps Part 1- PC Tips

Is your Computer or monitor or keyboard or mouse or Printer doesn’t work?

1. Check Power cords are plugged In
2. Check keyboard/mouse/monitor/printer cables plugged into the CPU?
3. Check if the computer and monitor power button is on?


If your computer’s Sound doesn’t work 

1. First check if the speakers plugged in correctly to the CPU?
2. And in case you have headphones or earphone, are they plugged in correctly to the CPU (match the colors  properly)
3. Make sure if the volume up?
4. Is there any sound playing?


Monitor went black

1. Check if it still plugged in?
2. Is it placed correctly (wiggle and push—make sure it’s really plugged in)
