WHAT IS UPSEE 2013 AND WHO IS CONDUCTING UPSEE 2013 ?
The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE-2013 being conducted by Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow. The CAB has absolute rights for conducting UPSEE-2013, and to decide about modalities of admissions and allotment of seats. The jurisdiction of CAB extends to colleges / institutes affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida. The CAB is authorised to take every decision regarding conduct and admissions through UPSEE-2013.

The steady rise in the competition as far as admission to professional courses is considered is no surprise. Every state in India has the same story to tell. Every year we can witness an upward trend in the number of applicants for these professional courses all over India. Due to the difficulty involved in selecting candidates on the basis of the applications that they make most of the states in India had decided to conduct Common Entrance Examinations for the same. The state of Uttar Pradesh was no behind. Considering the heavy response to admission notifications to professional courses the Technical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh decided to introduce the UPSEE- 2012.

Gautam Buddh Technical University has been made responsible by the Technical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh to conduct the UPSEE every year. Similarly, the Technical Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has also initiated the need to set up the Central Admission Boards under the Vice Chancellor of Gautam Buddha Technical University in order to supervise the common entrance test UPSEE.
All the candidates who had applied for the UPSEE 2012 can now get their admit cards/call letters downloaded.
All the candidates who  had applied for the UG courses and has completed the other related formalities, but failed to obtain their admit card/call letter are required to visit the Nodal centre on April 21st, 2012. All these candidates are required to carry some documents along with them that include copies of the confirmation page, proof of fee deposit, proof of identity and two passport sized photographs.
Similarly, all the candidates who had applied for MBA/MCA admissions and had completed all the allied formalities are required to visit GautamBuddhTechnicalUniversity, IET Campus along with copy of confirmation pages, proof of fee deposit, proof of identity and two passport sized photographs. MBA aspirants are required to visit the above mentioned place on April 27th, 2012 while, on the other hand MCA aspirants are required to visit the IET Campus on April 20th, 2012.
MCA examination is to be held on 21st April, 2012 and MBA examination on both 21st April as well as 28th April, 2012.
