The Bihar School Examination Board is responsible for conducting examinations for the interested candidates the latter stage of Secondary School. The Bihar School Examination Board also offers prescribed courses and syllabus for such kind of examination to the students. It is extremely important for you to note that the Bihar School Examination Board can easily carry out such duties and objects that are considered very important for this purpose. These purposes are mainly stated in various acts, rules of the Bihar School Examination Board.
It is a fact that the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Supplementary School Examination during August and September for the candidates. It also conducts Annual Secondary School Examination during March of every year. The course or syllabuses of these examinations are actually provided by State government of Bihar.
The Bihar School Examination Board also conducts department examinations apart from the Supplementary School Exams. The departmental examinations are actually based upon the terms and conditions that are generally laid by State government. These exams are not conducted on the yearly basis like the Certification in Physical Education, Teachers Training Examination or the Diploma in Physical Education.
The Bihar School Examination Board also conducts Annual examinations and Supplementary examinations twice every year. More than 548,000 students appear in these examinations. On the other hand, supplementary examinations are conducted during July and August.
There are two categories of students that appear in these examinations that re conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board and they are ‘A’ category students and ‘C’ category students. ‘A’ category means all subjects whereas ‘C’ category means compartmental. Compartmental actually refers to the students who want to clear only the subjects in which they failed in the annual examinations. Such examinees are known as compartmental examinees.
