Suzuki has lifted the wraps off its S-Cross concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The S-Cross concept is Suzuki’s next generation model for the crossover C-segment. Like Suzuki’s current model line-up, the S-Cross aims at good drive dynamics while maintaining a minimal carbon footprint.

The S-Cross will be primarily designed for comfort in terms of features and practicality with a large luggage compartment and roomy interiors. It will derive its on-road drive dynamics, fuel efficiency and performance from the Swift, SX4 and Kizashi. Suzuki is also working on its four-wheel drive system that will do duty in the S-Cross. All-in-all, the vehicle is designed for practical and fun commutes for day-to-day use as well as for weekend getaways. along with ample amount of luggage.

Suzuki S-Cross Concept Features And Specifications:

The S-Cross concept is expected to feature either a 1.6-litre petrol or a 1.6-litre turbo-diesel engine that will incorporate Suzuki’s i-AWD system. Suzuki has also stated that the production unit of the S-Cross concept will have a very low CO3 emissions rate. The compact SUV sits on a 2600mm wheelbase and measures a total of 4310mm in length with a width of 1840mm and a height of 1600mm. It will also feature 20-inch chrome wheels. In terms of exterior cosmetic changes, the S-Cross has a unique mesh-type front grille with a distint look and LED headlight, fog lights and taillights.
