The Rajasthan results In the last four decades , the board of secondary education rajasthan has a remarkable level of performance ,progress and vision of development in the field of academic excellence. The board of secondary education has played a major role in the development of secondary education in rajasthan. In the year 2000 ,the BSER spread amongst 6000 schools which are situated in more than 32 districts consisting of 8.5 lakhs students .
The board was setup in the year 1957 by the Rajasthan Secondary education act . The board was then shifted to ajmer in the year 1961 and began to function in a building with all the facilities.
Annual secondary school exams are held every year which are conducted by the Bihar school examination board. The supplementary examinations are held in the month of august/ September which include the course/syllabus which is directed by the state government.
The reconstitution led to the extension of the board and the merger of the Delhi board of secondary education with the central board . Due to this all the institutions which were recognized by the Delhi board were also recognized by the Central board.
The schools which are located in the area of chandigarh,arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim,Andaman and nicobar islands,uttranchal,Jharkhand are now affiliated to the board. The board is supervised by the controlling authority which is the secretary education of the government of India of the human resources department .
The governing body is constituted as per the rules and regulations prescribed. The chairman is elected by the state government and the tenure of the board is fixed for a period of three years. The board prescribes the rules for the work transacted by the employees.
