www.aicte-cmat.in – CMAT 2013 Registration, Application Form and Notification :
All India Council for Technical Education has announced CMAT 2013-14 Exam Notification for second test and started CMAT 2013 Online Registration on it’s official website at www.aicte-cmat.in for entrance test of all management programmes approved by AICTE.
From this year on wards All India Council for Technical Education holds responsibilities to select qualified and suitable students into all management colleges across all over India work under it’s affiliation. So for this purpose AICTE has introduced an national level entrance exam for management named as a Common Management Admission Test.
By 2011, there were a number of entrance exams for management programmes in India. These included CAT, JMET, state-specific exams, exams conducted by management associations of MBA institutes and exams conducted by private colleges. AICTE launched CMAT to reduce the burden (physical, mental and financial stress) of students in attending to multiple examinations.
Common Management Admission Test organizes twice in a year by AICTE to fill 4 lakhs seats of various management courses in the AICTE-approved management programmes in India, which will be covered by the test.
It is an online exam based on computer test whose first edition is conducts in the month of February while second edition conducts in the month of September of every year. Registration for the upcoming session of 2013 and 2014 has been started now. The candidates who have appeared for first test may also appear for Second Test and better of two scores will be used for admission for 2013-14.
First of Test of CMAT has already been conducted in the month of September of this year from 27th September to 1st October 2012 while second test is schedule to be held in Feb 2013. CMAT 2013-14 Exam Pattern/Format :
CMAT is a three-hour test. In 2012, it will be conducted during a period of nine days (20–28 February) in two shifts at 61 locations in all over India. The question paper comprises four sections and there are 25 questions in each section. While each correct answer carries four marks, each wrong answer will carry one negative marking.

A Trial test has been available now for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality. Candidates are advised to go through them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout, and  navigation.
At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations. After the test, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room. No breaks will be given during the test.
Eligibility : Only those students can apply for this who have completed graduation in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses. More details can be obtain from below table.

How to Apply :
All desires and willing candidates who seeking admission in various management courses must have apply for this and to do it they need to go to official website of CMAT at www.aicte-cmat.in and they have to fill application form as per instructions for form filling provide there which must be filled before last date for application which is 2nd January 2013. You can choose 3 cities out of mentioned list as your examination centre. In first test there were 61 cities while this time for second test one more city included in list and make it total 62 cities.
