Staff Selection Commission once again yet another has published SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2013  Notification for more than 21000 vacancies in CAPFs(Central Armed Police Forces) including forces like ITBPF, BSF,CISF,CRPF and SSB and invites SSC online application form 2013 on it’s various official websites at ssc.nic.in, ssconline.nic.in, ssconline2.nic.in.

According to the nomenclature adopted in 2011, the Central Armed Police Forces are the following eight police forces of the central government of India:

Central Reserve Police Force: The largest of the Central Armed Police Forces. 300,000 personnel (210+35 battalions). The Central Reserve Police include the Rapid Action Force, a 10 battalion anti-riot force trained to respond to sectarian violence, and the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA), a 10,000 strong anti-Naxalite force.

Border Security Force (BSF) for manning the land borders of the country, except in the mountains. 215,000 personnel (186 Battalions) which is headed by Indian Police Service Officer.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for manning the border with Tibet in the Himalayas. 77,000 (55 Battalions+18000 personnel which is headed by Indian Police Service Officer.  Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for guarding the Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bhutan Borders. 86,000 personnel. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). 200,000 personnel (132 Battalions).

Railway Protection Force (RPF) known for protecting the railways of India and ensuring safety of citizens in trains. National Security Guards (NSG). 8636 personnel (including 1086 personnel for regional hubs, an elite counter terrorist and rapid response force in India which is headed by Indian Police Service Officer. Special Protection Group (SPG). 3,000 personnel providing protection to the Prime minister.

Total no. of Vacancies : 22006 (ITBPF, BSF,CISF,CRPF and SSB).

Age Limit :

• Minimum age 18 Years and Maximum age 23 Years as on 1/8/2012.  Age relaxation will be extended as per government rules.

Education Qualification :

• Candidate who have passed matriculation or SSC exam from recognized board will be consider eligible to apply.

Pay Scale :  Rs 5200 – 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs 2000/-

Selection Procedure :

Complete selection of qualified and talented candidates for this procedure would be comprised various test which will conducted by SSC as below.

• Written Test
• Physical Fitness Test
• Medical Test.

Application Fee : Rs. 50/- payable through CRF Stamp or SBI Challan or on-line payment through account with the State Bank of India. Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

How to apply : Application can be done in two mode : 1. Online 2. Offline

1. Online : Candidates who wants to apply for this recruitment they can apply through online method by submitting an online application form on ssconline.nic.in and ssconline2.gov.in. Application form will be available from 15th December 2012 till 9th February 2013 for part-I registration while for part-II registration can be done till 11th January 2013.

2. Offline : Candidates can apply for this recruitment through offline mode in which they need to send the complete filled application form along with all relevant documents with CRF Stamp and send to the concerned Regional Office of the Commission on or before 11th January 2013.
