- Qualified Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent from a recongnised Board / University / Institute
- Passed Hindi as subject at Secondary Level
- Passed English as subject at Secondary Level or Senior Secondary Level
- Passed Two years Diploma / Certificate course in ETE / JBT or equivalent or B. El.Ed from recognized Institution
- Qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE
