As we all know Spam are those unsolicited and Junk messages which are just meant for nothing except irritating the receiver. In the modern the unwanted online marketing messages into the email box are also counted as spam messages. Sometime spam messages are sent with an intention to irritate the receiver and some time they are sent with a motto to sell some products and also some times they are sent to hack the users email and bank accounts (specially lottery emails).
The growth spam messages started since 1990 and today it has reached its peak. Till today there are no perfect algorithms to detect spam messages most of the time manual approaches are done. Spam messages are something what every internet users hate.
According to report generated by kaspersky – one of the world famous anti virus software producer India was the leading country in the world which had generated more amount of spam messages then any country in the world in Q3 of 2011. Almost more then 14.8% of spam messages have been generated from India. So its really an shocking news for Indians.
Well there where many other shocking information revealed in the report like almost 50% of spam messages have been generated by the Top 6 countries of the report.
The top six countries of the world who spam a lot are as follow :
- India – 14.8 %
- Indonesia – 10.6 %
- Brazil – 9.65 %
- Peru – 6.65 %
- South Korea – 5.85 %
- Ukraine – 3.7 %
Well its all clear from the report that the Negative users of Internet are more in amount from India then any country.
