Petrol Price May Be Down By Rs 1.60/Littre In later Month | Petrol Prices : Cut by 1.6 per Littre Later This Month
Petrol price may be cut off after this month by Rs 1.60/ltr. Petrol price was last revised in July month. And it was raised by 70 paise to 68.48/ltr in New Delhi. That was last cut off in June when rates were reduced by 2.02/ltr.
In now a days Petrol price is raised up. But after this month it may be possible to cut off prices by Rs 1.60 per littre. Also, theprice of international gasoline, against which the retail prices are benchmarked have eased from USD 126.11/ barrel to 122.31. Rupee has further appreciated to Rs 52.28, which would further give then scope for price cut.
Other than petrol Oil firms continue to lose on diesel,Gas(LPG), and Gasoline. Many of Petrol Corporations were sold diesel at the loss of Rs 12/Ltr. Similarly they lose 35.63on sale of every litre of gasoline through the PDS and Rs468.50 per 14.2 Kg LPG cylinder.
If this trend will continue then with the end of fiscal revenue loss of a staggering Rs 176,937 crore. In Indian OilCorp, Hindustan Petroleum Corp and Bharat Petroleum Corp sell diesel at a loss of Rs 12 per Littre. The ministry has sought money subsidy for the remaining money. But the Finance ministry has not released yet any.
